This works if all you want to day is play a CD. Forget about stop/hold or go to the next song, those functions are not working at all. Poor quality item, even though it was cheap, it should still be functional. Even if it is new in a closed package. Sellers should be aware and honest about what they sell.

You were sold a very old, brand new CD player. For additional context, this exact same item has sold over 15+ times already and you are the only one with this issue. I am not saying you are lying by any means as these items can go back even in their package. However to say sellers should be aware and honest about what they sell when this is a brand new product that has not been used until you tried it out is absurd. In the future please reach out to the seler for assistance.
