    This book is "Okay":

    Likes: Clear, concise tablature. I also really like the backing tracks on the CD. The tempo adjust feature can't be beat. The pitch stays the same, which makes it easier to practice in the beginning. The Stray Cats songs are good too. Dislikes: Not one sentence about the methods or theory, just the tabs. It would be nice if the book covered something about the method used to play the tunes, or even some background about the song, arist, or genre. I bought the book to try to get a clue on how Setzer plays Mystery Train, since tabs for Setzer's version don't exist, I thought I'd see what I could glean from the Elvis version.

    Nice selection of tunes, but some (Elvis) repeats if you own other books

    I have several of these Hal Leonard Play Along book CDs for guitar. They are a great way to learn to play the songs, using tablature and CD tracks with and without the guitar part. This was a nice addition to my collection, although I already have the Elvis Presley Play Along, so I didn't need Little Sister & Mystery Train, which on here are exactly the same tab and tracks. However, Blue Suede Shoes is the Carl Perkins version on here and is somewhat different from Elvis'. Perkins' is slightly less rock'n'roll than Elvis.
