  • My first Line6 product, not bad, good effects, easy to use. 7/10

Some nice effects, there is a little volume level drop. Easy to use. I found it's great if you like to really dial in your own sound, factory effects are nice, but you can really make your own sounds if you spend a little time working the tweaks. Overall I'd give it a 7/10, for a multi effects pedal this is pretty good.

  • Very pleased with what I got for the money.

I lead children's worship at church. We do alot of Hillsong Kids stuff. I kept finding myself in need of modulation (phase/flange) on the electric guitar since I have recently went from the X3 back to a tube amp (Egnater Rebel 20). My bass player took over the X3 and I had not purchased any mod pedals (too focused on dirt and delay). I went with this because it was alot cheaper than the Mod factor and I didn't want to expend a lot of pedalboard real estate on different mod pedals. I have been using it every Sunday since I got it and I am very pleased. I have even started using it for the acoustic sets (chorus). I am very happy with how it works with my other pedals also. I have teamed it (phaser) with a Wampler Pinnacle and Wampler Tape echo and achieved some sweet brown tone. I used it ...

  • Line 6 MM4

I was looking for a pedal that would be able to replace several vintage modulation effects pedals I was using live. The pedals I had were not as reliable as I needed and took up too much space on my pedal board. I already own a PODxt, which I use for recording, as well as a Line 6 Echo Park, which I have used live for 2 years, so I knew already what Line 6 was capable of. Which brings us to the MM4. First of all, you really need to study the manual to get the most out of this pedal. I have read every review I could get my hands on, and found a lot of people saying that the effects are sterile sounding and unusable. I am able to get very rich, textured effects from this pedal, from extremely chewy phases to rich fat choruses to swirling rotary. It's all in knowing how to tweak the ...

  • Great value without spending a fortune

The Line 6 MM4 is a great value that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Over the past 30+ years I've owned many different effect pedals - from vintage MXR and EHX from the 1970's to several "boutique" high-end pedals costing more than the price of a new MM4. Will the digital models used in the MM4 always sound as warm as the original analog devices? Sure, a real "cork sniffer" MAY be able to tell the difference BUT I bet 9 out 10 listeners won't be able to hear any difference and THAT is what makes this pedal so great... you get a ton of different effects at your finger tips for only a couple of hundred bucks! It would easily cost you several thousand dollars if you wanted to go out and buy all the "real deals" that available within this pedals (assuming you could even find them all!). So ...

  • Very Good for keyboards, great for guitar too. Awesome features for what it is.

Love the pedal for keys or guitar, love the vintage organ rotary sounds and i am able to get a nice lesie sound that will fool most people, I use it on the organ models in my yamaha keyboard and am very happy with the rich sound results with an expression pedal it is amazing. I love it for guitar too I plan on buying another one for the guitar so i dont need to switch back and forth, overall it is a must have for me for keyboards especially.
