Classic Movie
Whitney Houston, best singer maybe ever! Kevin Costner, one of the best, and most versatile actors. This is a great date movie because it has the romantic aspects. Kevin Costner is a modern day samarai that must try to protect his client, despite them becoming romantically involved. The plot has several twists as well. It has enough action that you never really get bored.

I thought this movie was fabulous. Kevin Costner plays an ex-Secret Service agent hired to protect a spoiled, difficult to get along with diva receiving death threats. Whitney Houston portrays the spoiled starlet to perfection. The chemistry and interplay between Houston and Costner was electric. The music in the movie was also great. There are really some key elements that made this movie extremely good. First, I thought the acting was top notch by all involved. The supporting cast really played their characters well, as did the stars. Secondly, the editing was outstanding. The movie and plot move along at a fast pace. There is not a dull moment in the entire movie. And finally, the plot was plausible (for the most part) and the mystery - who is the hit man - slowly reveals ... I thought this movie was fabulous. Good for tweens or older. Great music and Costner is great to watch.
Most people saw this movie when it came out. I wanted to buy it because the music is so good. Kevin Costner repeatedly loses his temper with the "spoiled little rich kid" singer, Whitney Houston. Although there is some violence and a scene with Kevin and Whitney together sexually, nothing is shown and the violence is minimal. I think "tweens" could watch it with parents; but I am quite religious. I rarely watch "R" rated films, but this one is more about the music and a singer's bodyguard.Most people saw this movie when it came out. I wanted to buy it because the music is so good. A classic well worth owning
A classic. Not really a Kevin Costner fan but he does well in this one. Whitney Houston a revelation. A shame she did not make more movies.
