The 2010-released edition of the popular game show title features more than 2,400 original answers and questions, "commercial break" mini-games, and a virtual big-headed version of longtime host Alex Trebek. One, two, or three human contestants can compete, and the game compiles each player's statistics over time. The Wii Remote is used to ring in, and the game supports the Wii Speak microphone accessory to allow players to give their responses aloud instead of punching them into a keyboard. In Jeopardy, well-phrased trivia clue "answers" are selected from a game board and read by the host. The first player to "ring in" has the opportunity to give a response, which must be in the form of a question. Each clue on the board has a dollar amount. With a correct response, that amount is added that amount to the player's total, but an incorrect response results in the money being deducted from the player's bank. As on television, the straightforward answer-and-question play is broken into three rounds: "Jeopardy," with five trivia answers in each of six categories, "Double Jeopardy," in which the dollar values for the 30 clues are doubled, and "Final Jeopardy," with a single, often more difficult answer, for which players must come up with a correct question before the famous theme music runs out. In the first two rounds, players may run across "Daily Double" clues, which allow them to respond alone, with no ring-in competition from the other contestants, and set their own wager amounts.

Totally worth it due to high quality but must get Wii Mic also
Much better than average Wii game in terms of quality of graphics and the options it allows you to do. One essential is the Wii Mic. You have to pony up for that if you're going to be able to have multiple choice instead of typing out every answer. It totally ruins the game play experience without Wii Mic "enabled." That's not to say Wii Mic works, but you have to enable it to unlock multiple choice answers. Also, having Alex Trebek's voice adds so much to the game play experience. Buying new plus the Wii Mic has given us dozens of hours of wonderful play. Much better than average Wii game in terms of quality of graphics and the options it allows you to do. One essential is the Wii Mic. You have to pony up for that if you're going to be able to have multiple choice instead of typing out every answer. Runs fairly smooth for an older game. Graphics are good for gameplay. Trebek character and Mii people have good identifiable features and expressions. Questions are Jeopardy! quality. Easy skill level gives you multiple choice answers while the hard level you must begin to type an answer before suggestions appear. This can be frustrating if you type a long response with no suggestions appearing only to find it is not the exact answer or one that would draw a proper suggestion. There are no judgement calls that I have seen yet. Overall, the game is fun, if you are a fan of Jeopardy! or not. As an avid Jeopardy! groupie for many years, I was stoked to see this game for Wii for such a reasonable price. After trying it out, I am very pleased with my experience (though not quite pleased with my lack of knowledge on many of the categories, but who's fault is that?). I'd recommend this game to anyone with an intense interest in random knowledge, quiz games, clean adult family fun and/or a nerdy 3-player Wii game.As an avid Jeopardy! groupie for many years, I was stoked to see this game for Wii for such a reasonable price. After trying it out, I am very pleased with my experience (though not quite pleased with my lack of knowledge on many of the categories, but who's fault is that?). Fun for the whole family, but not enough questions.
I think that they should put a lot more questions on the game. I have played the game for 12 rounds, and I have already had repeat categories about 3 times. One game I had 5 of the 6 categories that were repeats. I enjoy the game very much and it's fun to play every time. It has multiple choice which makes it easier just incase an answer is on the tip of your tongue but you just can't quite think of it, but once you see the choices it comes to you. It is a lot of fun for the whole family. You can play multiple players or one player and the whole family can help as one to get as much cash as possible. I don't have any other complaints about the game except that there are not enough questions for it; otherwise it is a lot of fun, and I can't wait for more jeopardy to come out for the wii.I think that they should put a lot more questions on the game. Works well,On the easy level you get multiple choice, medium level you have to use on screen keyboard that requires a well adjusted controller as well as a steady hand. This is a step up from a previous (non wii) Jeopardy game we had 3 years ago.
