    Purchased as a "backup."

    I gave this item only 4 stars, because I haven't used it yet. I like this model, and bought this one as a backup. The knob/shaft has a little slack, but I don't think that will be a problem.

    Plastic packaging of this product appeared very old.

    This wall timer arrived perfectly packaged in its container, but did not work. I installed it correctly (as I had previously installed this same model timer in other positions in my two homes.) I am a licensed aircraft electrician and I possess all of the proper tools & electrical meters to correctly install such a device. I wish to return it for a refund. Thank you. William B.
