  • Get a copy or go to the Library, it is that funny.

I read the story about the Mother hawking this book until she met Percy. She handed him the book and refused to leave until he read some of it. Percy said he started reading the book and could not put it down. And yes she was still there. The city of New Orleans has taking the characters to heart, their is even a bronze statue of the main hot dog eater. Read the book.

  • We have met the Confederacy, and it is us.

Pulitzer Prize will deserved. Masterful irony, astonishing characters, fabulous dialogue, brutally honest insights into the hilarity of who we think is somebody else, but isn't.

  • A Confederacy of Dunces

The book is well written by an author with an intimate knowledge of the people and places described in the funniest treatise ever. I fell out of bed laughing.
