    Great Bluetooth solution

    I installed this on my stock Harmon kardon head unit on my Harley road glide , I soldered two male 1/4” blade type plugs on ends and used the extra orange remote wire off my J&M amplifier mounted inside my fairing for power.then used the extra plug on headlight wire harness that comes stock with a red cap on it for my ground. This has double sided sticky tape ,I stuck it on the left side of my head unit on fairing bracket.works awesome!!cycle key it comes right on.pairs with my Iphone automatically every time I cycle key on!Sound quality is great also ,I highly recommend this product as a permanent Bluetooth solution for some one wanting to retain the stock Harley head unit and have the Bluetooth capabilities.

    Great product

    Works as it should. Very simple to hookup and pairing is quick and easy. I use it on my motorcycle so a hard wired aux. cable is no longer needed. Powered by vehicle's battery so you don't have to worry about charging it all the time. All you need is n RCA to 1/8" stereo adapter to to connect it to a standard auxiliary port. Works great.

    GREAT HEART FOR A STEALTH SYSTEM.

    This thing allowed me to make a really cool 'stealth' car stereo system, Simply this Bluetooth receiver in a subtle location, a small amp in my trunk , and good door speakers, and I've got everything I need. One drawback (hence a 4 star rating, not 5)...... it takes a few times of powering up to get it to sync with my iPhone..... a bit frustrating...... I power it up and off a couple of times, and there it goes. Not as straightfoward as I'd like, but once it's connected, it is very stable. I have a 1993 Miata, and I wanted a super clean look (no extra knobs / buttons / visual distractions / etc. This allowed me to do so with ease.

    Great product!

    I used to have a iSimple brand that I got at bestbuy. It had terrible connection issue and sound quality. After searching for a better unit, i gave JL brand a try. (I was aware of JL brand and had great experiences in the oast) To my suprise, this unit solved both the connection and sound quality issues. I would highly recommend this product!

    Exactly what I was looking for

    I used this in my old truck instead of buying a head unit that would have cost way more. If you're going to be connecting via smartphone with bluetooth, this is all you need. I'm y-splitting two channels of the JL MBT-RX to make four(RCA). Two channels connect into my Alpine 4 channel amp for my front left and right speakers. The other 2 connect into the other two channels on the same amp that I have bridged on the back side pushing a very tight hitting 8" JL microsub. Does't sound like much but it hits. The clarity I'm getting from the JL receiver is some of the best I've heard. Make sure the bluetooth on your phone is able to encode the data to the MBT-RX in aptX so you can take full advantage of what the receiver has to offer.
