The light was new, not in the original box which was fine, shows no signs of wear, and works perfectly. I had to contact mapl_518 to find out if it included the base because it wasn't in the description nor shows in the picture. He responded quickly to my query. The shipping was a little slow but it was free and I wasn't in a big hurry for it. Very happy with the purchase.
