Dr. Syn has been found working for Disney!!!

I remember so many years ago watching this over 3 consecutive Sundays on The Wonderful World of Disney. I’ve been waiting for a release and apparently the only way to get it was Disney Movie Club. Glad I found a copy on EBay!!!

Where is the Theatrical Cut of the Film?

This is a film I’ve wanted to add to my collection for a long time, especially on Blu Ray. The original DVD release sold out very quickly, so it’s nice to be able to get this. A BIG However... This release could have benefited by having the Theatrical version included. What we have here are the 3 episode airings from The Wonderful World of Disney, which is nice to see how it was handled for broadcast. Played together though... well, you hear that theme song over and over. Lots of repetition to get through to get back to the story. Releasing a Theatrical cut would show how good this little gem really is.

  • For Disney Collectors

Blu-Ray edition was exclusive to Disney Movie Club members. There are no extras included, just the three serial episodes with Walt Disney's introducing. Quality of the Blue Ray slightly better than the DVD edition released some years ago. Price for this edition reflects secondary market and isn't a great value.

  • Lets me relive a childhood favorite.

I loved this as a kid and had a bootleg copy on DVD. The color on this is amazing. Great product.

  • Really Enjoyable Trip Down Memory Lane

First watched this three episode series when Disney launched it in the 60's and never forgot it. Even the theme song is haunting! Occasionally over the years I would try to find it w/o any success, so I was very pleased to find it for sale in Bluray on ebay. The quality was excellent. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Disney's Wonderful World of Color in his/her youth. Great to share with your kids or grandkids. Based on a real-life Robin Hood type character in south England in the mid 1700's.
