Hampton Bay Ceiling fan, and light remote
I have been unable to locate a remote. When I found this site it made it easy for me to order it. I love that it runs on 2 double A batteries instead of a 9 volt as my previous one did which made it difficult to remove and replace.

I thought I was getting a Hampton Bay original remote. This was a copy, but it has turned out to be better than stock. The original used one 9 Volt battery. This one uses two AAA batteries, which are cheaper and easier to find. This remote functions flawlessly (Carefully verify that the code buttons match your old remote). Finally, the wall mount from this unit is narrower than the original. To hang this one on the wall, I trimmed the old plastic piece from the original remote. I thought I was getting a Hampton Bay original remote. This was a copy, but it has turned out to be better than stock. The original used one 9 Volt battery. This one uses two AAA batteries, which are cheaper and easier to find. This remote functions flawlessly (Carefully verify that the code buttons match your old remote). Finally, the wall mount from this unit is narrower than the original. To hang this one on the wall, I trimmed the old plastic piece from the original remote.

Ideal Replacement
We needed a replacement for a Hampton Bay fan remote and this was exactly what we required. It has all the controls of the original remote and all work fine, including the dual light controls. Except for no logo imprint, this replacement is almost identical to the original with the same controls. The only thing different was that the original used a 9V battery and this replacement uses 2 AAA batteries. Of course, make sure to set the internal DIP switches to the same configuration as your fan remote control module.
