Additional Information
Based on Nicholas Pileggi's book 'Wiseguy', Martin Scorsese's GOODFELLAS is a wry, violent, and exhilarating film about the life of Henry Hill, an aspiring criminal who ends up in the FBI's witness protection program after testifying against his former partners.
As a poor Irish-Italian growing up in 1950s New York City, Hill (Ray Liotta û SOMETHING WILD, UNLAWFUL ENTRY) rises through the ranks of his Brooklyn neighbourhood's organized crime branch, and with money from the mob he begins living the good life, complete with a beautiful bride, Karen (Lorraine Brocco û THE SOPRANOS), a fancy home, and the best seats at the most exclusive restaurants. A botched robbery lands Henry in prison for a brief period of time, and when he gets released, his reckless infidelities and drug abuse damage his associations with his adopted family.
Scorsese's film is a visual and sonic onslaught, featuring a brilliant pop-music soundtrack and stunning camera work--including the infamous Steadicam one-take that introduces the audience to the Copacabana's patrons. He uses the songs to infuse a rhythm into every scene that is at once breathtaking and invigorating. As the psychopathic Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci û RAGING BULL, MY COUSIN VINNY) delivers an unforgettable, Oscar-winning performance that is alarming in its cold-blooded callousness and Robert De Niro adds to the prestige with his quietly calculating turn as Irish hoodlum Jimmy Conway, helping to cement GOODFELLAS' place as a classic portrait of life in the mob.

Item arrived quickly and well packed. Listed as new & sealed. Cellophane wrapper was torn in various places which wasn't mentioned or highlighted in the description or 2 photos showing product. As I collect sealed games to keep them in that condition, I was a bit disappointed. Messaged seller about the issue, but didn't receive a response back.

Everything was great except the shipping the item to my house which wasnt the Sellers fault, took item like a month to get to me due to post office on the sellers side having issues getting the mail out. The seller did contacted me on several occasions to let me know what was going on though, so I wasn't left out in the blue. So that was very sweet of her. The item was in Great shape packaging was awesome. Price was fantastic. Overall, I would buy again from this seller.

  • Don't even doubt buying it, you won't regret purchasing GoodFellas.

Speaking personally, finding a good gangster film which doesn't disappoint you throughout with the lack of character development and the tendency to over focus on needless violence can be difficult, I myself am a bit fussy when it comes to films. However, after much uncertainty, I decided to purchase the film GoodFellas on eBay. I received it and after a few days decided to watch it, after 10 minutes I was completely glued to the television, ignoring questions from family members but that's credit to the film, all I was interested in was what was going to happen next. After sitting through 3 hours, roughly, how long the film lasts, I was left disappointed, I wanted more. For a long film, that is a compliment, most 3 hour films can be unnecessary and shortened, not the case with GoodFellas, ...
