  • Not what I expected

Great pictures and weighs a ton. Because of its size, I thought reading through it would give me so much inspiration and many ideas. However, I skimmed through it having no urge to start sketching. There was too much focus on historic clothing and not enough on modern(50s-present). I was slightly disaapointed with the designs featured as some were so over the top that they were merely there to gawk at. I wanted to see a lot of interesting silhouettes and cuts. I just wasn't inspired.

  • A Paris Treasure

I found these books at a Paris flea market. Due to the heavy weight I could not bring them back in my carry-on luggage. I was pleased to find them when I returned to the states.

  • Stunning Book

The shipping was speedy & the book is stunning. The Kyoto Institute has an amazing collection of period wear--these excellent photos are taken of those pieces. I already had a set of the books, but bought this for my dear friend, who had borrowed mine for months, and really didn't want to return it.

  • Awesome

    Love it!
