    It's an excellent unit to help twelve components come out with excellent sound while recording on all five recorders.

    Do investigation from manufacture of the AV 400 SV Prograde and you learn the unit needn't necessarily need all three of each column used as a trio. The unit ca be used as a solo audio dual channel distributor as well as a V-L-R distributor.

    100% identical to a direct feed as far as I can tell. Used with S-Video, tested with composite. Doesn't get too hot, everything feels very well-built, and it's compact. What more can you ask for in a splitter?
