    Good self-guided tours and details.

    I buy a Rick Steves book for every COUNTRY I visit. The Rome (specific) book has more listing, details and, most importantly for buying it - good printed maps of tours for museums and walks. Always buy a Rick Steves book for the country of visit. Buy a city-specific book if you're in town several days or want more knowledge/options.

    Don't leave home without it!

    Loved this book. Would read it the night before visiting a certain area. Then read it again when there. The insight is great. Easy to read. Entertaining. Filled with great info. Wish I had this book on other trips I have taken.
