The seller did end up giving me a refund, but the listing is bogus. This is not an “open box” item. The seller came clean after the refund and said he had know way of knowing that it was a knockoff because he found it in a hotel lost and found. Well if thats true then you had no idea if it worked (which it didn’t) and the listing should clearly be “used” not “open box”. Shady.
