    Can Not be (easily) Hacked for Higher Voltage

    I had hope to modify the unit to put out 14.8V for LIPO battery charging. There are many guides to do this hack on other HP supplies. But, I could not find a procedure for this model. The circuit board has a different design so I could even use the other procedures as a rough guide. Nevertheless, the unit functions perfectly and can be tweaked up to 12.4 V.. It is extremely well made and as good as new.

    Works fine

    Mostly writing this to counter the other review - 3 stars because YOU couldn't find instructions on how to modify it, even though it works 100% for the intended purpose, which you explicitly stated? Really? It works. It's cheap. It's a power supply. You plug it in and it shoves 12V on the rail. That's it. That's all it does. These things are built for datacenters, they are meant to be plugged in and run for years without stopping. And someone gives it 3 stars because they can't find instructions on turning it into something that it's not supposed to be. Give me a break.
