It was wrapped in bubble wrap and had crushed paper to fill the space around the receiver. It arrived and the box was abused by the USPS system. The receiver was apparently dropped or thrown and it landed on the front left corner of the unit and bent the metal base and busted the plastic around the power button. I noticed this while I was hooking up my speaker wires and turntable. The units power is on and it works great. Fvck the USPS.
