    Unfortunately, I found a tiny chip when I washed the pan. This makes it unusable as cookware without using a cooking bag inside it. But still think the seller did all they could to prevent this and would still give a good feedback and purchase from them again.

    Makes Tasty Hot Dogs and Buns!

    I really love this pop-up hot dog toaster because I am a senior and live alone and it is super fast for me to make two hot dogs with toasted buns. Now I am spoiled, I must have the buns toasted. I use natural casing hot dogs and you can hear them pop and sizzle in the toaster. What I usually do is the hot dogs first alone one time, then put in the hot dog buns and do another cycle. This way the hot dogs are nice and hot and the buns done perfectly. I had been afraid there would be a mess with hot dog juices, but that is not the case. Toaster is clean and dry after going through the cycle. And easy to clean! Comes with little tongs to pick up the buns and dogs, although you can lift up the hot dog holding part. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because it has a tendency to burn ...

    Needs more adjustments

    If you follow the instructions, it is not as quick as they let on. Your hotdogs need to be cooked at room temperature. I warmed them at the kitchen facet before cooking. They are hot cooked hot all the way through unless you run them 2 cycles at the highest setting. they cook more at the top half then at the bottom. I turn them over after the first cycle. A longer cook time would make it a lot batter of a buy.

    Burned Buns Good Hot Dogs

    We tried to cook both the hot dogs and buns at the same time. Buns were hard to get into compartments. They tended to burn if left in same amount of time as hot dogs. We tried to cook just one hot dog to see how it would do. When finished it shot it out of the toaster. It worked well with two hot dogs in the toaster and cooked both hot dogs evenly and when finished popped up without shooting them out of the toaster. Overall I would say it is a very unique item that we use at least once a week. We bought two as we use them at lunch time here at work and with 5 people to feed it cuts down on our wait time. As far as cleaning, it was very simple to wash both the pull out tray at the bottom of the toaster and the removable cage that holds the hot dogs.

    She loves it

    I purchased one of these hot dog toasters for my niece. She had a two year old son and was always busy running and doing this and that. She was thrilled. Just place the dogs and buns in the toaster, push the lever down. She said lunch was never so easy to prepare or clean up after. I asked her on a scale of one to ten what would she rate the toaster. She said it was worthy of an eleven+++. This was two years ago and it is still being used. But now he's able to use it by himself (she says the rating is now fifteen+++). He makes lunch for him and Mommy now. I just received my order for two more a couple weeks ago. I don't need one but wanted to have them on hand for gifts. What with the ease of use and cleaning and the reasonable price, I just had to have two sitting in my closet waiting to ...
