I haven't applied it yet, but that was partly my fault. I didn't do the math, ordered the 20 ft seal and should have gotten the 23 ft seal for my 8 foot bed. The info gave max weight for the seal, but it would have helped if it noted that 8 foot bed requires a 23 foot seal. I was impressed by the quality and already ordered the 23 foot seal. I previously had a foam seal on the truck and on and off a couple of times and the seal was junk. This one won't shred when you remove the cap.

Lucky for me this was for my 6 foot (short bed truck) . It would have been at least 3 foot short on my 8 foot bed truck. I guess I was wrong to assume it would fit any camper shell. But it was good quality and got here fast.

    At Last!

    At last I found a perfect fit for my Tacoma truck and camper shell. All other weather seals leaked, this one has double rubbed rubber seal, sleep in a dry camper thank you! Bub61

    Needs to flex more

    The material itself is to hard so it doesn't flatten down much, it still makes decent seal but not as good as I want it, so for the $ I payed its ok... if I knew before I bought it I would look in to another product

    Seals Really Well

    The construction is super - with the inside and outside raised edges is seals well. Best of all, once it is attached to the camper shell it does not have to be replaced each time the shell is removed. It costs more than the regular flat adhesive, but is so much better.

    Leaking Canopy

    I couldn't find a boot for my truck canopy and found they no longer made them as they would rub paint off the cab with movement. I applied this rubber seal (matching contact points) to both surfaces of the canopy and truck cab and it worked great sealing out rain, water, dust etc. The two surfaces rub against each other and not any painted areas. I live in a rain forest where we get about 120" of rain a year, so this was just the ticket. Thank You Petersburg Alaska
