Bissell cap replacement
I accidentally dropped my Bissell steam mop and broke the cap on the water tank. I immediately thought I must replace this steam mop because it’s the easiest way to clean my tile floor. Then I realized I could perhaps just order the broken part. Sure enough I found it, ordered it, and it arrived in just a couple of days. It’s perfect, has all the little parts that were inside the cap including the tiny spring . Economically, it is the exact same manufacturer part that BISSELL sells directly on their website for $5.99 each. In 6 months, I have had 2 of these crack, split, and break to the point that they are leaking. The quality on these could be much better. Especially since they are $5.99 each or higher for a simple, little plastic cap and washer. Unfortunately, there is no alternative for this part because it is specifically designed to fit the BISSELL POWERFRESH steam mops. Therefore, you have to buy this exact part to fit their water tank. It's a cap. What can I say.
The original cap was cheap and broke when screwing it on after some use. I bought a replacement cap and unfortunately it did the same thing. This the replacement for the replacement. Hopefully it will last.
