Seller Notes: “Used vintage (I would guess 60's or early 70's) binoculars with multicoated lenses. Right eyepeice ... “Used vintage (I would guess 60's or early 70's) binoculars with multicoated lenses. Right eyepeice moves freely (possibly could use some regreasing) and is adjustable. Optics are very nice with the exception of a spot of fungus in the right monocular--seems to be mid-optic space between the front and rear elements (see last photo). It renders a very, very, minor darkening to viewing. There is also a very, very, very tiny amount of haze in both sides--but its very minor and might be limited to the prism. I would guess these could be cleaned. There is also some minor cleaning marks in the coatings, but they look remarkably well preserved based on the age of the binoculars. The spot of fungus, very, very, very minor haze and coating scuffs does not appear to affect image quality --nice and tack sharp. Comes with the original Austrian-made case. I have priced it by taking into account the condition issues based on other auctions for the same item that have sold. Happy Bidding!!!”
