Lennon & McCartney would be sad!
I was excited when I saw the title of this instructional DVD because I am a huge Beatles fan and a beginning guitar play. How cool to rip out some Beatles tunes with this easy to follow instructional DVD. Great disappointment!!! The instructor basically plays the song and tells you, "do what I do". Very little direction. If you are already a better than average player, this is probably fine. But, if you are already a better than average player, you would never purchase this CD. To make it worse, the seller was horrible. He has no avenue for direct feedback about his product. Would never buy anything again from derbycitymedia. This seller does not care about it's customers. Lacking as a teaching tool compared with other products out there.
Sadly it must be an early release for this series before they got how to do these DVD lessons worked out -- a dinosaur of sorts. There is only the one track which is like watching a no frills video. In other products they have multiple views and tabs and even the ability to silence the guitar so you can play to a band. This has none of it. Only the instructor. One might find tabs around in various places on the net or in books, but one shouldn't have to go looking. In fairness, I bought mine used and it may have originally come with tabs. But I needed them. Beginners, it would be tough. It's not really in depth though it claims to be on the cover. More matter of fact. Still, there is some value to the DVD.
