This is my very first Mac product; & the reasoning being is because I just stopped wearing make-up since 1994 because got into bad accident living on life support for 63 days & doctors gave my parents last right's saying I wasn't going to make it & if I ever did I won't be the same! Painting me beautiful - great job M.A.C.
I used to wear makeup all of the time but for years I've been on hiatus. Recently, a friend got me interested again in make-up. Talk about choices. There's so much new stuff out there, but one of the things she lauded was M.A.C.'s Paint Pots. She was on the money with this product. It seems as though Painterly is the pot of choice for most beautistas, but currently, I rock the Constructivist pot. It's a wonderful subtle bronze tone on my skin and does a great job in covering the freckles on my lids as well as helping the shadows stay put - if I choose to wear shadow. It's very beautifully neutral on its own without being garish. I will often wear it on my lids with a bit of a smudge underneath my lower lash line. Painterly Paint Pot good place to start
Painterly is a good place to start your eye makeup routine. It presents a good neutral base on which to build your eyeshadow. Painterly also increases your hours of wearability without creasing. Must have in your makeup kit.
