These are better than the Daytons
The auras reproduce the low tones much more accurately. So you get what you pay for. Search You Tube for this vid. Its done by Channel Zero "Aura VS Dayton Tactile Transducer Bassshaker Comparison." When you watch the vid, watch them dance, and judge for your self. Obviously one is much cheaper than other.

OMG this is fantastic!
Used with IL*2, a WWII flight simulator. Bought this unit to go with a Buttkicker Gamer2 I have on my chair. I mounted this on a piece of plywood that supports my VKB rudder pedals. I was only expecting minor feedback to add to the immersion of flying a plane in combat. This thing is a monster. Not only do I have a better feel for when weapons are fired but now I feel the rumble of pavement or grass airstrips differently. There's a comforting thud when the landing gear retracts into the wings. Truly amazing product that looks to last a lifetime. Very solid construction and quality materials. Game Changer for my Home Theater
This product has exceeded my expectations, I'm running four AST-2B-4 Bass Shakers off a 250W Dayton Audio amp however when I was running two of them off a 70W amp it was great too. Four is definitely not needed, I just wanted to add shake to more pieces of furniture.

2 shakers on a 2 seater. Wasn't sure I needed them with 2 subs behind my seats. Glad I installed them. Great effect for the buck. If you add cross braces to mount on seating use particle board vs plywood. Plywood absorbed half the vibrations.

Because it's not designed for sound. It's designed for it's effect which technically is the result of sound. It's a butt shaker and that it gets done really well
