    I works great!

    I killed my vinpower controller by turning it off during a copy process. This controller was easy to install, the instructions were simple but complete and helpful. There was the usual flat IDE cable routing ritual to deal with. When I fired it up for the first time it recognized all8 drives and the HDD. allowed me to format the HDD and I discovered that it allocated storage space as needed instead of fixed blocks, so a CD image did not take up the same space as a DVD-DL or even a DVD. My Duplicator is over 10 years old but the optical drives are still working great and this made for a good upgrade at low cost.
