    Batteries United

    On my John Deere LX-255 the battery discharge light started coming on intermittently. The battery showed to be charging, when checked with a voltmeter with the discharge light on. The voltage drop of the battery discharge sensor was enough to let the discharge lamp come on. Replacing this sensor fixed the problem. Cheap and effective fix.

    Simple Fix

    The yellow light on the dash had been on for some 3 seasons. Nothing ever discharged and my mower always cranked. This was a simple fix to get the light off. Easy to replace. This does make my 3rd time having to replace this discharge sensor over the 15 year life of my JD LX255
