I’ve been using my efest luc v4 charger for 2 years but it Wouldn’t accommodate my 20700 batteries, as a matter of fact I had more problems with this charger than most people I know. I had to spin my batteries to make a connection or they just wouldn’t charge . My i8 Works like a dream always makes a connection regardless of what battery I am using. No more forcing a battery into the charge slot or replacing the battery sleeve. Great charger but positive slots could be better.
The capacity of this charger is what attracted me to it! I can charge several batteries, of different types, ALL at the same time! That's the pros, now here's the con: The flat top batteries, i.e. the 26650's, don't sit real well in the charger and sometimes take a little adjusting to get them started charging. The Positive slots could have been engineered better to eliminate that.

I bought a second one after I received my first one and verified it can charge large capacity NIMH D-cells Can charge 4 at 1 amp in the large cell corner slots with no problems. No overcharge no battery cooking and in good time 8-10 hours for Tenergy LSD D-cells 8000Mah. The I8 runs very cool while charging with a nice upright design and I like the added ports for charging USB powered devices. Nitecore put a lot of thought in the design of this charger to make it simple and quick to use, you'll likely toss your other chargers out like I did. Bought this for my Ijoy 20700
Bought this for my 20700 batteries and find it very nice to charge 8 at a time. The 20700 are a little tight to fit but it works very well. Also is nice to have the lights to show which ones are fully charged. Also I am sure the USB ports are going to be useful.
