Product Information

In this American remake of the 1977 French farce "Pardon Mon Affaire," Teddy Pierce (Gene Wilder) is a happily married man who gets into hot water when he becomes attracted to a beautiful model (Kelly Le Brock). He begins to pursue the "woman in red" as his married buddies -- who are each unfaithful to their own wives -- cheer him on. Teddy's attempts to woo the model without his family finding out causes some comic confusion -- and making the situation even more chaotic is a female coworker who is attracted to Teddy and begins to pursue him. Also featured is a top-of-the-charts soundtrack performed by Stevie Wonder and Dionne Warwick, including the Academy Award-winning song, "I Just Called To Say I Love You."

    The Woman in Red

    How could you not like Gene Wilder? He has so much class as a performer. The man can act with the best of them. Yet he also allows his co-stars to have their "place in the sun", and gives an exceptional comic performance to boot. The Woman in Red is one of my favorite "watch again and again" movies, every character in this movie is unforgettable, Gilda Radner, Charles Grodin, Judith Ivey. All these people add their own style of comedic genius. If you appreciate classy comedy this is a must see.

    Sweet, Funny Movie!

    This is a brilliant movie. Gene Wilder plays the role of a man who is going through a midlife crisis. He goes after a much younger, beautiful model, who he is certain is the end all be all. He transforms himself to be more appealing to her. All the while, his co-worker, the wonderful Gilda Radner, is hot for him. Let the games begin... This movie is filled with hysterical moments as well as some tender, sweet moments. It has a very nice mix. This is a wonderful exploration of the trials of a man at a cross roads in life.

    Case had no signs of wear and the actual disc was equally in excellent condition. Such a great movie, well written, great actors, a must see if you are at all a fan of Gene Wilder!
