Arrived in undamaged box, sealed and wrapped item as "new." Typewriter had two malfunctioning parts about which I alerted qpd316. A few days later I received a reply saying someone would look at a booklet from an open box to see if it indicated points of lubrication. This was the last communication. -- As an unwrapped "new" item, no one could know about malfunctioning parts until the item was unwrapped, all the packing pins were removed, and someone tried to type on the machine.
