Oshlun LG-R01 Radial Arm Saw Laser Guide
This little device worked pretty well from the first time I used it on my radial saw. The accuracy is amazing once I figured out where the blade will cut in relation to the laser line and measure mark. I think I may have mounted it incorrectly, at a place where a carbide blade tooth tip interferes with the laser, since it produces a very sharp line near the fence and near the place where the blade is cutting but the laser line is fuzzy at a distance from where the blade is cutting. It really doesn't matter that much but it would be nice to have a nice clean laser line at a distance from where the blade is cutting to see where the blade will be all the way through the cut BEFORE you start the cut. Not Good Laser Guide
I was hoping this laser guide would make aligning my cuts to the blade easier. However, it isn't worthwhile. At first the laser wasn't working, so I took apart the guide and replaced the batteries with the second set. The laser worked, however, it seems as though there might be a loose connection. I managed to get it working. When mounted on the saw, the laser beam strikes at the teeth of the blade not the table. I had hoped it would light the table exactly near the edge where the blade would cut. Instead it shines a ring at the edge of the curfs on the teeth about a 1/4 inch above the tip of the saw blade. This isn't very useful. I may attempt to place a small spacer between the blade and the laser to get the beam on the table.
