The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces is an original flight combat game designed especially for play on Wii. The analog stick on the Nunchuk is used as the control stick, to set the plane's pitch, yaw, and roll, and the Wii Remote is held in the other hand and used as the throttle, controlling speed and acceleration. Players steer the plane using motion, tilting the controllers to change direction. Battles play out with crisp, 3D graphics and realistic aircraft. The game's near-future sci-fi story unfolds between missions, in a series of anime cut-scenes. In a world that had known nothing but war for nearly a generation, a newfound peace left an uncomfortable void. This void is filled by corporately sponsored military conflicts, and courageous young men and women now take to the skies to fight for fame and glory. Players follow the adventure of an especially young pilot named Lynx, who rises through the ranks through outstanding battle performances in the skies above.

    Cool technical

    It is a cool way to pretend you’re a snoopy on top of his doghouse, flying his sopwith camel during World War I The game is fairly technical, you will have to love it to figure out all of the subtle nuances.

    Easy game for lefties.!!

    well, i am lefty.. so i had no issues on the controls.. and it's a very friendly game... i used to play ace combat and the only detail is that when u r chasing a plane, and u r performing a loop, and u r about to be upside down, the game roll my plane automatically, which i dont like.. lol.. i know this aint jets as in ace combat but well.. is a good game in fact. i am buying hawx 2 for wii... to work it out.. i am still playing it, so i can't tell yet about and entire game play experience.. but so far so good.!! George

    love this game

    I watched the movie and it was lame... but the game ROCKS! If you like flying games and like prop-driven planes and not jets, then this is your game. The graphics are good, the story is good -- even the directions and controls are good. I played several missions and did remarkably well even though I did not use the built-in "cheat" function that places you on targeted enemy's six at the push of a button, and did not fully understand the controls. I play Blazing Angels and WWII Aces, so I have a lot of "flying" skills. It may be a lot more challenging for new flyers. Lots of air to air and air to ground combat. Not for kids and challenging enough with increasing difficulty levels it should keep you from getting bored. I give it four of five stars
