    Projector lamp ELPLP39

    Lamp arrived well packed and in good condition. It must be modified a bit to fit on Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 720: bakelite must be cut with pliers to be able to snap the lamp in place (be carefull while doing this) Lamp is not as bright as the original Epson one (I would estimate at 80%) and there are, at times, minor variations in the brightness when looking at slow moving scenes. So not as good as the Epson one but for the price, it is acceptable. I have +/- 200 hrs on it now. For the : good quality, good value and recommendation, I put YES but be aware of the above.

    Awesome deal!

    Over the years, I've replaced the entire lamp assemblyI with expensive original parts thinking OEM was better. It got really expensive, though. I once used a cheap aftermarket assembly to save money and found out the hard way how right I had been. The cheap lamp looked good for about a month before deteriorating quickly...what a waste of money! So, I bought this OEM Osram replacement bulb only and installed it iin one of my old plastic assemblies. I am so happy that I have the original performance back at a fraction of the cost. It was very easy to install and looks awesome! Seriously, this is the only way to go and will save you a ton of money.
