Had been hoping the gage blocks and pins may have been packed a little bit more carefully rather than being dumped in a box along with everything but they had some x-mas wrapping fully surrounded and it’s not like they were any worse off for the experience. At the price and from pictures I knew micron precision was long gone and they were shipped promptly so overall pretty happy and would do business again.

  • Excellent!

I have always enjoyed reading historical fiction and The Other Boleyn Girl is one of the best, if not the best I have ever read. I have read reviews where other people give this book really low ratings only because a lot of the historical facts written in the book are not accurate. That didn't bother me at all; I knew when I purchased the book that it was historical "fiction" that I was about to read and the way that Philippa Gregory makes the story unfold kept me reading, unable to put the book down. I deprived myself of sleep until I finished it. It is a quick read, though the book is over 600 pages long, and I enjoyed it very much. I knew enough real facts about the Boleyn girls when I started the book to notice when I was reading something untrue. Philippa was in her own right to ...

  • The Sweet Sister

The Other Boleyn girl tells the story of Mary, King Henry the VIII's mistress before he met and married Mary's sister, the more well-known Ann. This is a great story, beautifully written and completely interesting from beginning to end. Written from Mary's point of view, the story elaborates on the theme that both Mary and Ann were pawns in the Boleyn family's push for upward mobility. This is the first book I have read by Philippa Gregory, and I am looking forward to receiving The Queen's Fool so that I may read that, as well. There are events in her novel, however, that some historians do not believe occurred. For instance, in this book, Henry fathers Mary's first two children while she was married to (but living separately from) her husband. Some historians dispute this allegation and ...

  • A Must Read!

I love reading historical fiction and this book is by far one of the best I have ever read. It is the story of Mary Boleyn, the younger sister of Anne Boleyn. I have read a lot about Anne but this is the first book I've come across that details Mary's life. She was involved romantically with King Henry VIII before Anne came along to court. She also had two children by him. I won't give all the details way - you'll have to get this book and you won't be disappointed!

  • The Other Boleyn Girl

This is an excellent read. Once I started it, I just couldn't stop! The author brings a different light to the story and makes you think outside of the box. The movie was terrific, but the book is one hundred times more revealing and intimate. I would suggest buying it if you have not read it. You will never think of royalty in the same way again.

  • Mary gets her turn to shine.

I really love historical fiction about the intrigues of the royal court. This book doesn't let you down because its filled with what Mary Boleyn had to go through. It tells of her life and about the time spent with the famous tyrant king Henry VIII. This king changed lovers like shoes...when he got tired of them he just changed. In my opinion Mary was a strong, smart girl and did the best she could in that time. Great book to read.
