If you like the Furs then this is all you need, but if your just tuning into the old 80's music, this may puzzle you as to why only a few of these songs ever cracked the pop music chart. The Furs put out good music that did not fit the "Prince/Bangles Crowd" and would have died a lonely death if not for the movie director Cameron Crowe who liked "oddball" music for his movies (Say Anything, Jerry Maguire...) This album is a great representation of what we all know to be one of the greatest post-punk bands of the 80's. The raw sounds with moody guitars and raspy vocals by Richard Butler take excellent catchy song writing and street-wise lyrics to it's peak. Includes the uber-famous "Pretty in Pink" and classics "Heaven" and "Heartbreak Beat". If you haven't checked them out, this is a great place to start.This album is a great representation of what we all know to be one of the greatest post-punk bands of the 80's.
