This is the real deal. Look on back of the remote. The model "3089" has longer range than "3089-Multicode". Yes they are all multicode but the original "3089" has better electronics in it.

    Good quality Multicode remote

    This Multicode control is of great quality, and has a nice range. It comes with batteries which is a plus. You can keep it in your visor and has a good size so you don't lose it unlike small ones which get lost every time. My car's visor is a bit thicker, so I can't put it in the visor, but most people can. It's has a great price... it retails locally for 40$, so I saved big by buying it on eBay...

    Great Replacement for my original

    This remote is a great Replacement for my original remote (which is about 25 years old). 10 pin was easy to set up and the range seems moderately effective. Great bargain at this price also. I definitely recommend this product for lost, broken, or additional remote units.
