    I like errine balls on my electric guitar but not my acoustic

    I have 12 acoustic guitars and have always used d'addario phosphor bronze light gauge strings on my guitars for years so I Thought I'd try there aluminum custom med. that ernie ball makes and like them so I thought I would then try There regular custom med. phosphor bronze string they offer They sounded good at first but didn't last as long as my d'addario strings before they started sounding dead and one started buzzing from the rap that was wearing out at first I thought I had a high fret but it was the string coming apart from the rap. every once In awhile I'll try another brand but I keep coming back to d'addario. sorry guys

    Ernie Ball strings

    I highly recommend any EB string, the 2146, which used to be called Earthwood, now called Slinky, delivers bright, solid sound. They were smart to change the name to Slinky, but it really doesn't matter. If you haven't played them, I think it's worth it to try at least a single pack and see what you think.

    Only been playing less than 2 years

    2nd time I replaced my strings. Very noticeable difference in these. Guitar sounds new again. DR strings on it were very muddy sounding. These are very crisp sounding.
