Excellent for what it is.
We needed a new general purpose computer for home and this fulfills that need, and then some. With light use (1-2 hours) the battery lasts for days. The screen saturation is weird/over saturated when on battery power, but after a quick search, it's a known issue that Microsoft hasn't been able to resolve. It's not a huge issue, just something I didn't know about before purchasing. Set up and updates only took a couple hours total over the first couple days, so no biggie there either! Overall, we love it, and when it becomes too outdated to use, we'll definitely look at buying another Surface device.
