    Definite update

    Changing a processor in a laptop is not for the faint hearted. However, if you can rebuild a carbureter using YouTube as a reference, you can do this. Some laptops have a removable processor and consider updating if you would like to give a second life to the old laptop. This cpu is operating flawlessly, does it make it go twice as fast? No, but it made a noticeable improvement along with a little more memory and a good hard drive cleaning, made it useful on a daily basis.

    As ordered, but took too long to arrive

    The product arrived safely and well packaged, but arrived a week too late to be used in the laptop under repair. I will donate the CPU to a local non-profit that provides systems to those that need - but cannot afford - computers, laptops, network gear and printers.

    Older CPU

    For an older CPU the AMD Athlon II works surprisingly well with Windows 10. Works quite fine for office 365, emails, and YouTube, which is all I use it for.
