Bert's career began in 1957, when as an eighteen year old, he hosted his own late show on Channel Seven. Two years later, he switched camps, teaming up with Graham Kennedy on GTV 9's In Melbourne Tonight. Their partnership became legendary... as did Bert's later collaboration with lanky Yankee Don Lane. But Bert Newton is much more than just a sidekick. The Logies are his alone. He's hosted the event eighteen times and has four Gold Logies to his name. In 1988, he was inducted into the Logies 'Hall of Fame' and used the occasion to take a well aimed shot at the industry. This special presentation delves deep into the archives of Bert Newton's twenty-seven years at Channel Nine.
