Was told by my mechanic I had to buy new module from BMW have it programmed for my BMW X5 plus installation fee.I checked out YouTube videos on Footman module and thought it was worth trying "Houston Cars and Gadgets" Great decision!I did remove module myself (not that hard), sent it in for "unbricking" and got it back (7 day total) MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE RE-INSTALLING Back to normal with no problems! I saved $1,300 over replacing with new. Great deal
