    a Real Drama

    All of you Kung Fu buffs might want to avoid this one. There aren't any elaborate fights although there is lots of action. There aren't any intricate fighting styles, animal or otherwise, depicted. No folks. What we have here is a real Drama. It is one of the few times Taiwan stepped up and attempted to make a legitimate film, with a story and everything. There are gorgeous sets and costumes in this Ming Dynasty film about corruption, greed, and, well, racism. Ming vs. Ching. Han vs. Manchus. Give it a name. This is an ensemble where some of our favorite Kung Fu stars such as Carter Wong and Polly Shan Kwan are forced to act. Again, this is a Drama. You've been warned.
