I received the books I ordered and my daughter was so excited to get them, but nowhere in the description did it say these are not from a smoke free home. I purchased around 30 books and every single one of these books, plus the packaging, printed invoice, and everything else that came in the envelope REEKS of cigarette smoke. These books are non returnable but we can’t use them due to the smell and allergies and sensitivities in our home. Wish I had known in advance before spending over $100.

I am sorry you are unhappy with the books, and bummed that you didn't reach out to me directly. The books are stored in a smoke-free home, but they come from a variety of places shortly before. As noted in the description, I buy these from yard sales, thrift stores and other places. The listing specifically states that books may have smells, including smoke, they come from countless places and are 30 years old. It is stated in the description because it is possible (although rare).
