easy connections
very easy to connect once you figure out which fuse box to use. I have 2010 highlander and two fuse boxes. one inside the car and one under the hood. I used the one under the hood. you need a manual to get the fuse location for the fuse included with the kit. The installation would be much easier if the kit included a nut to the foot brake holding bolts to connect the white ground wire under the dash. I just used a little enforcement to tighten up a nut I found at home to make the white ground wire to connect to the foot brake holding bolts. I did not tried to drill a hole on the fire wall because you have very limited amount of space and fiber material. I am only 180 pound and had a hard time squeezing in to under the dash because of the seat. only if the lighting kit can be ... very easy to connect once you figure out which fuse box to use. This connector does a wham bam job. I installed it without any problems to a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Easy instructions along with a little 'youtube' confidence, made this one of the simplest electrical hook ups I ever completed. Toyota deserves some credit as well for its foresight of anyone wishing to install a tow package. Once installed, it tested 100% perfect.
