About this product

Product Information

Freaky Flyers is a cartoon-style racing game featuring aircraft instead of cars. Players control one of 13 exaggerated characters as they compete on ten different tracks, ranging from pirate towns, 1920s Chicago, and haunted graveyards. Each course features a number of potential threats to interfere with the race, from snapping sharks that leap out of the ocean to gangsters trying to take out the aircraft with Tommy Guns.

Each playable character has a distinct storyline, represented by cinematic cut-scenes, with dialogue scripted by one of the writers of The Tick. While the primary goal for each level is a first-place finish, a number of different objectives must be completed on return flights to unlock the next area or to reveal bonus characters. Freaky Flyers also features an active soundtrack that changes according to the aircraft's location on the course.

The ad said Like New. The disc was far from "Like New". If you're a long time shopper like me on eBay you'll know that Like New means fresh out of the package and never played. The condition of his disc that he sold me isn't something I'd be able to resell someday. Although it works, the condition was far from Like New. Seller refused to give partial refund or work out a deal, I personally think that's bad customer service. Price was fair that's the only positive.

  • A FUN GAME, for young and old! Really glad I got it! B+

OK, I am just over the edge of 40 yrs old, and mostly get a kick out of trying different Xbox games to see 'what they are like'. I love trying out games when they have gone below the price of $10, which a vast majority of Xbox games have. I got an Xbox 3 years ago, and really 'let' my wife buy it (Birthday) because I knew my Son and I would have fun playing together. He is 7 now, and my regular 'visiting' of EBgames and other stores looking at the preplayed and sale games has resulted in a library of about 60 games. I have gotten pretty darn good at picking fun games for him and me during these 3 years. After having gotten BURNT by many game selections that looked great, but absolutely stunk, I am now very careful. Three examples of horrid games are: Sneakers, Turok and Dakar2. OK, I am ...
