Grateful to be able to share

This story was so instrumental in my childhood as I read it and understood the true horrors of the Holocaust. It is so well written and is so important that people do not forget what happened not that long ago. Very happy with the quality, the shipping, the price seeing as how it’s been banned in some places and it is more expensive than it should be on most platforms. Highly recommend everyone purchase and educate themselves on this matter that is all to similar to what could happen again if we aren’t informed. ❤️

  • Maus Is Maust Reading!

Being Jewish, the Holocaust has always been of great interest to me. I have taken courses at college, seen movies, read books and gone (twice) to the National Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. and for some reason had never come across the book Maus until I purchased it on eBay! I found Maus to be the most moving experience of all. Maybe it was the straight forward dialogue or the simple black & white drawings that did it for me? Could it be the personalized approach used by the author? The simple story of a son trying to connect with his dad who had lived through one of the worst atrocities committed in history. Or maybe it was the detail used by the author in describing these atrocities brought more vividly to mind then any motion picture had done for me? For some reason all these ...

  • Do yourself a favor, buy and read this and pass it on.

This is a mesmerizing book. Brilliant classic. Important read. A great piece of literature and first of its kind. A must for any Jewish home. It's hard for any holocaust denier to maintain his POV after reading this and realizing it isn't fiction, but a biography in words and drawings. Brings the terror of fascism home clearer that anything i have read since, Sinclairs "It Cant Happen Here" A must read in the 2020's

  • My continued education

It simplifies the holocaust. When I read the history of the holocaust, it was very sanitized. The survivors experience was not included. I have since watched many documentaries, on discovery channel to better understand this horrible event. This book gives the family's view fo survival. in a pictorial way. .

  • MAUS,a banned book that MUST be read!

Terrific art, to match the content of a horrific time in history, told and drawn by the son of a Holocaust survivor. I recommend it highly!
