    An excellent nod to great guitar influences.

    Steve Morse is a guitar genius. With decades in the music business - as a solo artist (along with the Steve Morse Band), or a member of Dixie Dregs or Deep Purple - Morse's guitar expertise is known throughout music circles. Playing instrumentals almost exclusively, Steve has a following not only of music fans of many decades, but also musicians who recognize his talent and signature sound. On Major Impacts, Steve Morse continues applying his own style, but with a musical nod to those guitarists who were influential in some way in Steve's career. From Hendrix to Harrison, Beck to Clapton to Page (each separately, as opposed to The Yardbirds), the Byrds to the Stones to the Allman Brothers to Kansas and Yes, Steve Morse doesn't play any of their songs in tribute, but instead has written ...
