  • Very Warm Jets - If Not Hot and Golden.

I bought this album when it came out and it was sensational for its time. Roxy Music were at the top of their game when Brian Eno left to pursue his solo career. He could have stayed with Roxy and enjoyed years of hit singles and albums but he chose a different path. He moved on and pushed highly creative pop music to its limits. Here Come The Warm Jets. Do you understand the title? Clue: Golden Showers. Yes Brian always had his tongue firmly in his cheek with all his lyrics. This was his debut album and every track on this album deserves 5/5 for originality, humor, musical content and, apart from Driving Me Backwards, actual tunefulness. Warm Jets remains a revelation to this day and has strong commercial appeal along with exciting originality. This album must have influenced hundreds of ...

  • Eno Eno Eno

Eno is not the average writer, composer or musician. He is a trail blazer taking people off the normal path of music to a new experence. This is one of his best projects and had the early 70's glitter phycilic vibe. I have own this disc 3 time since the record albums have faded away and enjoy it as much now as I did in the 70's. All of Eno's music is beyond the average shelf tunes but The Warm Jets and Taking Tiger Mountain are classics that every collection should have. Perfect for a shuffle mode party. You cannot go wrong with a early Roxy, Bowie or Eno recording.

  • A great value!

  • Glam/Art Rock

When Brian Eno left Roxy Music in the early seventies, this was the result of his vision...Here Come the Warm Jets. Imagine if Roxy Music was jamming with King Crimson. The best track was "Baby's on Fire" complete with a searing four minute guitar solo from Robert Fripp. Eno's voice is unmistakable, and distinctive, This is Glam!!
