The first peg of the binding machine does not punch. Not sure if the damage was done during shipping since the item was only secure on one side in the box, or if the peg was not working before it was shipped out (I checked and screenshot the description to make sure it was mentioned - it was not). I guess it's the price you pay for buying something used that you can't returned. I am leaving a neutral review because at the end of the day, 11 out of the 12 pegs works.
