    Upgraded memory from total of 4GB to 8GB. Prior to this upgrade web pages were slow to load and seemed to use an excessive amount of memory. I was contemplating the purchase of a new pc. What I was looking at would have cost me around $1200 for pc & monitor. So for around $40 for the memory, it worked & I am happy for now. Adding two 4GB modules helped tremendously. They were recognized by the pc without a hitch. I first went to Crucials website and used there scan to determine memory type & how much the pc would accept. Then I looked for deals on ebay. Purchased 2 modules that were identical. Very cost effective compared to new modules.

    good module for a memory upgrade (especially for a doubled volume / dual-channel mode)

    I have bought this module to expand memory in my Dell Inspiron 5520 laptop which already had an identical 4Gb module installed in one of the 2 slots. The pre-owned module is pretty inexpensive and the system works great after adding it. Now I have 8Gb (2x4Gb) RAM in a dual-channel mode which is at last sufficient for my usual laptop use.
